And the CFCA caption contest winner is …

CFCA caption contest: Bob Hentzen with kids in Guatemala

Congratulations to our next CFCA caption contest winner! It was a close competition and we enjoyed all the submissions. Continue reading to find the caption that received the most votes …

Thanks to all who submitted a caption for our contest!

Our talented panel of judges (a.k.a. CFCA employees) has selected a first-place winner.

To keep things impartial, the judges heard the caption only when they were judging and did not know the author’s name.

And the one that won, based on the most votes:

(Drum roll, please …)

“What do you mean I don’t have enough hot air to blow up a balloon myself? / ¿Qué quieren decir con que no tengo suficiente aire caliente para volar un globo de mí mismo? :-)”

— Paula Kiger

Paula Kiger will receive a CFCA coffee mug and recognition from the general CFCA community. Congratulations!

We also had a separate contest for CFCA staff entries, and the winner of that contest is:

“Bob wows sponsored children with another of his many gifts: yodeling.”

— Ellen Schuch

As a side note, this photo was taken by Erin Gaffaney, on a CFCA awareness trip to Guatemala.

  1. Thank you! I am so privileged to have met Bob and Cristina on my MAT in 2011. His approach to and compassion for the sponsored children, families, and aging, is obvious and contagious. (and ps I love the yodeling caption too!)
